Yeah, I think it's wishful thinking. Like Jeremy Meeks. His success came through no work of his own and that he was lucky enough to be around in the age of the internet. Even if he had the same looks, but he had got arrested in 1993, before the internet, instead of 2013, no one would have ever seen his mugshot, except the cops that took the picture. And it would have ended up in a file cabinet in the basement of some police station.
His success was purely the result of factors beyond his control.
