I have been brainwashed into thinking Islam is the only religion since birth, i inherited Islam from my parents, and ever since after converting to agnosticism, Islam has always been at the back of my mind, maybe because i was born into it, but i geniuenly cannot escape it. I have this lingering thought that Islam might be true, and it frightens me because i have been religious before, and i know alot about the religion. I truly want to disconnect from religion and be happy and free, but i dont think thats possible regarding my connecting to this religion and how i grew up in it
