Isn’t it better to go to a 3rd world countries for surgeries in most cases?

Most of the time what differentiates expensive, well known surgeons from no name surgeons is mainly marketing and a massive price difference, rather than a skill for the most part.

By doing that:

1. You save a significant amount of money
2. The chances of being botched should still be low if the surgery is done by a skilled surgeon, especially one who consistently posts his results

That's exactly what I'm going to do instead of spending money on Ramieri, Raffaini, or Taban for overpriced surgery due to marketing. There are less internationally known surgeons operating in 3rd world countries who still perform at a very high level.

Even for very invasive procedures such as LL, there is a great surgeon named Mangal Parihar from india who was trained directly from Paley and has a 20+years of experience. You can get 5-6cm tibia lengthening for 20k usd from him.

Sure, but people in this forum are overly focused to do the procedure from well known expensive surgeons, which to me is just nonsensical. Only makes sense if you are really rich, and don't want to waste your time by doing an extensive research idk

I mean depends on where are you from I suppose. I don't want to share the country of where I'm from, but during the consultation a surgeon quoted me 1.5k usd for genio. Genioplasty from Ramieri I have seen being quoted roughly for around 5k usd, so yk, there are good cheap alternatives.

Btw, france is a hidden gem too, the price is not expensive there at all. Some list of surgeons.

Maybe for simple things like fillers, fat grafts but bones, LL, srsly? Your face is your life, take care of it. Don’t try to save up on it to THAT extent. There are also cheaper surgeons in 1st and 2nd world compared to popular PSL surgeons. France, like you just said.

There are EU countries, Germany, France, Spain. That have totally reasonable pricing.
