Isotret advice

Hey folks, Need blunt input on isotret. Was on 20 mg daily for ~4 months, then a different derm randomly switched me to 20 mg alternate days without explaining shit. Since then oil seems to be creeping back, nose texture/filaments are worse, papular scar areas look puffier, and overall my face looks duller/more inflamed. Problem is I also have seb derm / reactive skin / redness-vasodilation overlap, so I can’t tell if this is isotret rebound or barrier/SD issues. Derms won’t give a straight answer on cumulative dose or why they tapered. Would you stay on alt days, push back to 20 mg daily, or handle the course yourself with bloodwork monitoring?

Hs but what about ur liver?? Will it be able to metabolize that much?? And what's ur goal? How long r u gonna cycle it? And how frequently do u get ur blood work done??

ur liver is not as weak as u think. they ptu this stuff on labels to cover themselves civilly. i dont get bloods done often at all. goal is seb gland nuking. ive been on for several months, thinking of reducing to 40mg n permarunning with taz

What'd you advise me?? My acne has stopped no breakouts but the other things i mentioned are still there. Other than oral retinoids,is there anything topically you'd recommend? Without nuking my skin cuz I have a really fucked scarry barrier gets vasodilated and dry easily.

taz. ive looked into this b4 n im certain taz is superior for collagen/elastin over iso. taz low irritability. u may wish 2 look into trif. most selective retinoid we hv currently. this may make it inferior for collagen due tio reduced pathway, its hard to say

taz. ive looked into this b4 n im certain taz is superior for collagen/elastin over iso. taz low irritability. u may wish 2 look into trif. most selective retinoid we hv currently. this may make it inferior for collagen due tio reduced pathway, its hard to say

About the isotret dosage wdy think i should do? To be precise i already had engulfed an amount of 3600mg give or take of accu 2.5 yrs ago and those cunts told me to hop off just cuz my liver enzymes were elevated JFL and then but my acne didn't go and overlapped with Seborrheic dermatitis and increased so now I'm on it again since 4 months.
1-4 months 20mg EOD but in the midst of the 4th month I was said to take it alternatively due to her assessing my face. Idk why ,now what's the best thing i could do? I am at the end of the 4th month .

bump dose, continue. dont stress abt this, its blown way out of proportion. monitor if ur sufficiently concerned n u will see for urself
