This is a common misconspection about Isotretion

It mainly originates of a study done on kids. It showed an 1.38% chance of pre matured close plates ( 3/216 )

It is true. It's a FACT -
These kids did get it.... But it just doesn't apply to people like us --
Most people can't interpert study's -
They didn't read it,
They just copy what other people say,
They're retarded and blind,
Or they're only reading ''conclusion''

Here are the facts onto why the study is USELESS -

1. Almost ALL patients were <5-10 years old
76% being <5y old
19% being 5-10y old
6% being 10y or older

Do I even have to comment anything on this??? :lul::lul::lul::lul:

2. The dosing of Isotret in question
The standard dosing here was 160 mg/m^2/day - The dosing was divided into 2 administrations.
Example -
Average 5 year old - 110cm-18kg-5y = 120mg PER DAY
Average 10 year old - 138cm - 32kg-10y =
180mg PER DAY

3. Why its diffrent for YOU and ME
1- Most likely you are not between the ages of 2 and 12 years old
2- You are not planning on going anywhere NEAR 120-200mg Isotret DAILY
3- You are already FAR more developed (GP wise ) than a 5 year old kid
4- Lets be honest here, even if it had a 1.38% change, having chronic acne is far worse

Accutane is a miracle drug

Worthy of your money and time.
If you have active acne, Accutane is the drug for you :feelsgood::feelsgood:

Hope this thread could help a few gremlins out❤️

Agree, the only sad thing about Isotret is that it doesn’t help post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, which is a shame, so if u got bad old acne marks still there and takes extremely long to heal naturally without retinols

Therefore I use both at same time, will be using Isotret forever😻

Still not worth the over 50% dht loss during puberty

Lemme guess, u didn’t read the study
Together, these reports suggest that isotretinoin therapy decreases total testosterone, prolactin, and DHT, while increasing free testosterone and DHEA. Although the mechanism of these changes is not well understood, we hypothesize that isotretinoin induces the separation of testosterone from sex hormone-binding globulin, thereby increasing free testosterone levels and inhibiting the transformation of testosterone to DHT.

read the conclusion

Use tretinion cream, I had that problem aswell, tret got rid of it pretty quick. I use tret+ Isotret it’s not a problem, just don’t do 80mg & 0.1% I do 20mg and .025%

What do you think about normal retinol? Can it compete with tretinoin or is tret just so much better?

Alright. I had some nice results from 1% retinol. But it probably doesn't come close to the effects of tretinoin. Beginners start with 0.025% right?

Since at a certain point blocking for example 95% of oil production at 60mg not superior over blocking 99% oil production at 200mg. They use it for the other effect being cancer tumor growth. So after a certain point it doesn’t matter THAT much anymore and is just money wise

If u use trt or any hormone or you’re young it’s always good to take Accutane tbh. It’s never bad, just stay on low doses and you’ll be fine

Than it’s a no brainer, but I would say Accutane is far better bc the acne from sebum upregulation is systematic from the trt so it would be smarter to also block it systematically with pills
