They sent 180 rockets on Oct 1 but almost all were intercepted and there were no Israeli casualties. If they wanna act then they better act fast because soon chaos will erupt. Word is Israel might even take out their banking system. They call it softening the target.

That was a saturation attack. Air defense systems can only respond to a limited amount of missiles/drones before they are overwhelmed. Iran launched more missiles than targets knowing that most of them would be shot down. Every military uses this tactic to deal with air defense
