Israeli passengers overcame co-pilot who tried to crash flydubai flight

Around two and a half hours after leaving Dubai, the flight descended from 33,000 feet to 17,000 feet (around 10,000 meters to 5,100 meters) in about the space of a minute. The co-pilot of a flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv tried to crash the plane after stabbing the pilot, but passengers then held him down while other pilots landed the plane safely in Saudi Arabia

holy moly. Almost 9/11 all over again. The israelis got lucky that despite both the main pilot and the co-pilot were being down on the floor bleeding, they had a random pilot passanger who took over and landed the plane safely
