Issues/questions with triangle shipping/indiamart vendor

Right so I ordered from some dude a week ago or so
I had to pay 30$ shipping
India -> UK -> western europe

But my package status update says it’s been delivered in belfast yesterday. And just now I’ve got a noti from the vendor I have to pay 60$ for it to process from the uk to my country and ship

Is this normal or is this nibba a joke

It was moving through northern ireland last couple of days and now it says ‘final delivery BT1 1AA’ which is a code for belfast I think

yeah, it’s normal. all depends on what’s getting shipped either way. don’t know why some vendors don’t tell you this before, did the same except he told me that something like this would happen.

yeah, it’s just something you gotta deal with. usually happens with bigger packages that get shipped, to pay the fee to get past customs because they inspect larger shipments way more heavily. smaller stuff slips through easier.
