So I’m flying to Turkey for my revision rhinoplasty in a month and I was really hoping to explore the town a bit.
However after I went on google maps today in hopes of finding some good spots to visit I got really disappointed.
I thought Istanbul being the capital of surgeries and with people saying so many great things about it would be amazing, but it turns out it’s just a shithole full of slums. Anywhere I go on the maps within a 20 minute walk radius from my hotel (which is in the centre of Istanbul btw), everywhere looks like a place where I would not feel safe to walk, even in bright daylight.
The nearest supermarket is 13 minutes away from my hotel so I think I’m just gonna buy food online, if there is an app like this in Turkey, or buy dinners at my hotel because my current package only includes breakfast and im just gonna rot in the hotel room for 8 days straight.
