Having friends is submissive. Being everyone's "buddy" is an evolutionary tactic so you're more likely to fit the herd and not be ousted/bullied/etc. Girls are more friendly even because they feel even more a NEED to have protection, friends & allies in this world.
I'd say people who are seamlessly NT are less courageous than those without friends. Why? No friends = only enemies, so it's more risky to be friendless. No friends = no options, no means, no power potential, no distractions, NADA. So TRUE lone sigmas really ARE tougher.
Having friends is an evoltionary ease to fit in, avoid conflicts, and avoid being seen as that odd man out figure who is more a target to organized groups. Gangs will target lone wolves .... Will the same gang target a lone wolf with his buddies or "protection?"
So in reality having freinds doesn't necessarily make you "brave" or "put together" but being nice is actually a hind-brain, evolutionary mechanism to SELF-SERVE and MAKE THINGS EASIER FOR YOU. Because friends = protection, and no friends = only enemies. You can't argue with this logic, can you? Friendliness is a social tactic to use your submissiveness or "niceties" to avoid losing resources which make life more EASY & more COMFORTING for you, marking you as a "member" rather than an "individual" in life overall.
Those like women make lots of friends because then they have ENDLESS protection -- girl friends, simps, male relatives, etc. can all protect/provide resources. But are you really as tough as you think if you DID NOT have any of these resources or "protection" or fallbacks? It's one thing to go outside alone -- it's another to have a large bond of connectiveness which seeks to SUPPORT you.
Now a friendless autist? He's got NO FRIENDS so only potential enemies -- he's got no COMFORT/RESOURCEFUL fallback like buddies or other social avenues. But really, are you that tough in life? Can you make it year after year without being the friendly guy, and not go insane?
So having friends is just a comfy, easy mechanism from which those with the right social mores can affix themselves with to increase resourceful bonding/protection mechanisms. Being nice IS a weakness -- that's not just muh male gaze/cope but true. Nice = more friends. Nice = more manipulation avenues (friends can be "tools" too). Nice = more ways to distract yourself from life.
Nice people try and appease or work for others somehow, either through kindness, open/non-demeaning posture/gestures, or etc. Try being that autist, friendless, non-compliant dude in life and see how much easier it is vs. being that chummy, smiley, friend-y dude who bonds to feel safer. Even if this nigga is incel or not he GAINS protective resourcefulness from friends -- without he's TRULY to fend himself.
It's like the great debate between extroversion & introversion, whereas introverts speculate that extroverts are less capable of surviving without friends & distractions. AKA the extroverts NEED to always be socializing, talking & more whereas introverts are fine only hanging out with friends once & week when some will sui with that. Some NEED the distraction. MANY people could not make it 2 years even with zero social outlet, let alone most/all of their lives. So are you tougher with friends? Definitely not as tough as a guy who's ALWAYS HAD NONE & rolled alone with no need of submissiveness/fake smiles.
More friends also means more people you probably TAKE ADVANTAGE OF TO YOUR OWN GAIN/THEIR POSSIBLE DETRIMENT. So it's not a "give for give" it's a "who can benefit whom more?" kind of deal. It's not a thing of kindness -- there's actually a MORAL argument/point to the idea of having lots of friends to use as tools for personal gain. People with no friends are LESS LIKELY to be SNAKES as they have no people they actively manipulate, pressure or use to their gain/the other's possible detriment. If you see friends as TOOLS then you're a snake who uses others. Friendless? They got no one to use or hurt.
