What I get from it and how it ties to simulation theory is that we're physically incarnated here we're so low consciousness that it's like a simulation. Acknowledging this and making the best out of it, trying to live life on high consciousness to benefit your whole soul version to evolve as a consciousness/soul/spirit and having the good afterlife stuff yielded by a saint life on earth is a cool theory and answer to existential crisis.
