It makes sense in the sexual marketplace, where there is tremendously more demand from men for short-term sex.

However, the amount of men and women in the dating marketplace (LTR) is roughly equal, which should equalize SMV matching to a much more reliable degree. Women shouldn't have as much power as they currently do in that marketplace. There is an epidemic of simps and men who lack any sense of self-respect who think that women have infinite relationship options and can walk at any time. How does this make sense when there an equal amount of participants on both sides of the market?

Society has been distorting the dating market to give women more power. Here's how:

- Pumping women's SMV through artifice (make-up, push ups bras, extensive softmaxxing, heels, lingerie etc.) Women can all ascend their objective attractiveness and become more intimidating to their naturally looksmatched men
-Preventing men from improving their looks: Shaming them for gymming, softmaxxing, trying to look good, getting surgery when all of these things are acceptable for women. You get called a gay-boy if you do this stuff
-Convincing men since birth that their mission in life is to take care and prioritize women. Men are conditioned to be simps and are told women will leave them if they can't take care of them
-Convincing women that they are Goddesses from birth through showers of validation and reinforcement
-Rolling back the institutions of marriage to create informal polygamy in which women can race to the top towards Chad

It's a bluff. Have some self respect guys. I know a lot of women struggling to LTR they can't just all "walk"

In the past it was the other way around, with men having a disproportionately strong influence in the dating market. In an attempt at correction, the media, government, and general public has overcorrected and now women have too much influence. In a few decades or centuries or whatever, there will be a lack of masculinity and again society will overcorrect. Yeah the pendulum has swung back and smashed men in the face. I wonder if women will realize this arrangement isn't good for them. I think this new generation is experimenting with this hypergamy but will see it will lead to nothing but them being single without the 1 in a million chad they dreamed of their entire life.

I've seen them try and fail. High value men are rare and if they can get one they certainly aren't in a position to just walk away unless they are stacies. Even then if the guy is high value stacies aren't in a position of strength.
