People look down on you for being religious especially girls. Last year of hs (1 yr ago) some girls were making fun of a guy for being religious and celibate they were just clowning on him. now we have entered the time where only sigmas are religious trying to fight of all the demons just like doom slayer

Don't know if it's "Sigma" or not, but religion is usually a cope.

Yeah, I understand the church can be benefical, as a socializing place, and in many marginalized areas where the state doesn't give a shit, the church has an important social aspect.

But it also gather a lot of insecure folks that use religion as it's last cope, that's why poorer countries and areas tend to be more religious, if you remove the religion from their lives, they'll rope.
