Even if I ascend, the memories of my upbringing have scorched the mind, an imprint that no therapy or success can erase, and a constant reminder of the value I was once assigned.
I hit puberty very late, by the time I become a respectable height and appearance, high school ended, and I will never get to prove my worth.
