game was too unrealistic to be engaging. having professional actors spout off lines that sound like they were written by 12 year olds is really jarring and cringe. the technology and graphical programming of the game was good, however.

the satire element wasn't clever. in a lot of places it was just seething liberals trying and failing to make fun of themselves, their reluctance to recognize the ironic and ridiculous elements in modern leftism and capitalize on the potential for comedy is what makes rockstar games so insufferable.

in terms of realism i meant the gameplay mechanics and simulation aspects. they could have gone more complex with it, but ultimately it's just a cover shooter with enemy spawn waves. yawn
