Close-up: Jaw, eyes, neck, chin. A gallery of bodies. At first glance, it seems like the usual blow-up content, the looksmaxxing we already know, the kind of skincare, gym, jaw-enhancing exercises. But beneath that surface lies something more disturbing. I open the comments: "you're subhuman," "get everything done," "hammer your jaw," "take testosterone while you can," "Pubertymaxxing." I'm starting to understand that this isn't fitness, it's not beauty, it's something else entirely. And I decide to delve deeper. For three months, I infiltrated the world of looksmaxxing teenagers: private forums, Discord servers, Telegram groups, online academies that reveal the secret to extreme beauty. I created a fake profile, got myself assessed, spoke with users, coach creators, and entered an online ecosystem, a market that targets teenagers to capitalize on their insecurities by selling extremely dangerous substances. And the longer I stayed in there, the more I understood that looksmaxxing was just the surface of something much darker, which is not only what they do to their faces, to their bodies, but why they believe they have to do it.
After that they promote their site where they have the full video but I ain't paying for that bullshit.
Thoughts?
