its absurd how hard it is to do the right thing

i just wanna complain a little bit i guess

everyday youre expected to

-get 8hrs of sleep
-not sleep in a minute more
-shower (bitching about this bc i have long hair and its a whole routine in there)
-make your own non-slop food
-clean up the mess you've made from said food

this is all within the first 60-90 minutes of waking up, none of these things are actual "progress" to any real goal either, just upkeep to not feel miserable all day or look like shit

i cant imagine doing this shit 365 days a year. i bet it feels good for the soul to do it, but its genuinely out of the range of things i can fathom in my head. its like an entirely different world.

one last thing: how the hell are you supposed to accomplish living like this AND have an active dating/sex life??? is it even possible??? do you just accept you will not hit all these benchmarks most days with a gf or a hookup??? id imagine you need an absurd level of discipline and inner drive for these things to not be mutually exclusive, fuck me man
