It's ultimately about QOL, hard to say whether I'd dumb myself down to be more NT though, as I would cease to be

High IQ = More NT and charisma, because it's easier to know what to say and what to do in social situations.
Being High IQ doesn't mean you're non NT, high inhib or socially awkward, it's just that a lot of guys who are High IQ are unlucky enough to have these other disadvantages, but a High IQ guy is pretty likely to be more NT than a low IQ NT guy.

But I don't know what you mean by high IQ having a positive correlation with NTness, it generally holds untrue from my experience

You could partition intelligence as a concept to be like wittiness or just general intelligence(depth of thought + speed of thought) I guess, but that would just be focusing on aspects of intelligence which are socially productive

Statistical IQ on the other hand has a positive correlation with social disorders, inceldom etc.
