Has anyone ever heard a nigga say ”its better to give than recieve” or ”you get happier giving than recieving” And you dont get what the fuck theyre talking about?

Has anyone EVER actually gotten happy/happier by giving someone something?

No happiness appears in my body after giving someone something, especially if its something from my own pocket. I HATE giving away free stuff to people you almost never get anything back from it and in a real friendship/relationship you shouldnt need to give the other anything to maintain that friendship.

Like especially with presents, its so fucking awkward handing over a present saying happy birthday or whatever and later when they ask who it is from all the attention lays on YOU, and you dont know what the hell this nigga would like for his birthday you just took some random shit from a random store.

Like nigga do your ass really think you deserve a present and do you think i wouldve gave you anything if i had a choice?

But getting gifts/presents are a whole another thing. You actually get something out of it less than a loss of money.

Right it is awkward still getting presents but this might just be cause im neurodivergent, BUT AT LEAST YOU GET SOMETHING OUT OF IT.
