Yep I pretty much noticed this EXACT THING. My mom was watching an interview for some Pakistani drama people and they were talking about how:

- they are making bold leaps forward for rights for women in Pakistan

- women shouldn't have to just be in love with their husband because they were arranged to

-they have to show more degeneracy in the drama (swearing + sex) because it's "true to life"

As a Muslim, you are correct. And as a Christian, i agree myself to what you said.
Countries like america don't take fornication seriously at all. Real Christians won't sleep around before marriage or even after marriage.
Don't fool yourself into thinking that just be christian and you're saved. Repentance is underestimated among many countries and churches nowadays and those (unrepentant) people's condemnation is likely.

In a societal sense, OP is correct. The church still exists, but preaching has become bland and almost as a joke nowadays. The words do apply, but they are not followed by most Christians anymore. They have become lukewarm and worldly. Christ's return is inevitable btw.
