Hollywood usually portray very smart characters as socially awkward nerds. But thats just cope.
From an academic record POV, people who become Investment Bankers, Biglaw Attorneys, Strategic Consultants, F500 managers, Bigshot Politicians etc are very smart.
They aren't brilliant geniuses but they have high GPA, standardized scores, attended good schools etc.
Its unfair knowing these people have such scores yet they aren't socially awkward, have normal social lives, aren't ugly monstrosities etc.
The ugly nerd trope is nothing but pure cope. If you want a prime example of someone who proves this is bs, look no further at Dolph Lundgren.
