It's brutal to see how many people are emotionally broken

I always thought it was more like a meme. Everyone has depression, as it seems to be "cool" to say how much you suffer (and it definitely is for many). But I don't think this anymore. It's true, probably around 50% of people are traumatized from their childhood and emotionally broken, meaning they have very unhealthy character traits and are prone to feeling anxious and depressed in large parts of their life.

And the bad thing is: The same people will reproduce and have kids who will be emotionally broken. It's an intergenerational trauma. The solution could be to actually talk with their parents, try to solve their childhood trauma and get through the stages of grief, ending with acceptance and moving on. But people rather choose to tell themselves "It's a chemical imbalance" (jfl), take antidepressiva and traumatize their own kids later in life.

Case in point: This forum. Full of emotionally broken people who want to have kids for them to become Chads (jfl) as a way to overcome their own traumas. I'm not even saying you shouldn't try it, I'm just saying you should probably fix your mental health before thinking of reproducing.

I think most problems with mental health are caused by upbringing, your childhood, how your parents and peers treated you.

People who are emotionally broken tend to make the same mistakes as their parents and peers did.

I’m not broken by anything other than the truth, aka The Blackpill. The Blackpill and all it’s subsidiaries ruined me forever. All these pills that I cannot stomach. All these truths which are too brutal. They turned me into a hermit who wants nothing to do with any human being because of the blackpill

honestly people who have depression and very shit mental health should first think of themselve and try to live as healthy as possible. eat a healthy diet, exercize regulary, get enough sleep, reduce stress, stop taking jew pills, meditation or yoga, find a hobby you enjoy, socialize with people you like, get a partner that respects you (if thats possible). if you finally start resolving your own problems and start getting happy again, you can focus on helping other people and try to raise children. @OldVirgin

i feel like not everyone is depressed all the damn time though

most people get depressed for a point in their life and usually and hopefully get out of it

I used to be really depressed but it slowly went away...i know i make the occasional "i fucking hate life, it sucks" thread like once every 2 weeks but my life is nowhere as bad as it was 2 years ago...i was at a fucking low point then...was actually gonna rope jfl

These are good things for sure. But I don't think I will fix my mental health before I'm 70 or 80 (because at that age you don't care anymore), it's over for me.

But maybe I will still reproduce, I will give some SEA lady my seed for one kid (hopefully a daughter, good life guaranteed) and send her money every month to provide for the kid so that I feel like I was part of its life. I'm terribly afraid of raising a kid who ends up like me.

Depressed all the time = No.

Having a shitty personality all the time = Many, many people do, probably 50%. And I'm sure it has a lot to do with upbringing in most cases.

No. Most "genetic diseases" aren't even genetic but are dubbed so to create profit
