Don't get bimax in Turkey. I live in Turkey and to become a maxillofacial surgeon here, one does not have to learn anything about medicine AT ALL. Basically when you finish dentistry you have an option to become a maxillofacial surgeon. There is no acute inpatient ward for complications that can arise because dental hospitals and normal hospitals are seperated in Turkey and dental hospitals does not have any beds or whatsoever for patients who might need to stay longer. Bimax is treated like wisdom teeth removal here, you wake up from surgery and then you have to go back to your house or wherever you are staying staying even if there is a complication or not. All surgeons have lots of botched patients if not all... You might as well get your dentist to do your bimax instead of coming here...
But plastic surgeons here are very good(especially don't go anywhere else to get rhinoplasty in the world. Turkey is the best and the cheapest)

Well implants are usually done by plastic surgeons here. I have yet to see a maxillofacial surgeon who does jaw implants in Turkey

i dont know much maxfac tbh. I only know a guy from istanbul and ankara for implants.

Thats probably a plastic surgeon. Also some plastic surgeons do perform lefort in Turkey despite being not qualified to do that surgery.
