Since I am now paying market price for my rent for the first time in my life I have decided I will need to cut back on my grocery spending since I still need to save some additional money for surgery and don't wanna sell my investments while market is down
In 2021 I was on NEETbux so decided to treat myself and would often spend up to €5 per day on junk food buying lidt Lindor boxes and Ben&Jerrys tubs
I spent approx €100 per week on groceries but I now plan to reduce that to €50 per week (this incudes occasional clothes purchases)
I can easily limit my junk food consumption to a 750g tub of cheap brand nutella per week which costs €2
They also sell top tier yogurts in Belgium Lidl which cost 25cent for 150g, I buy 3 of them per day so it costs 75cent.
I've also reverted back to pasta meals which I gave up in 2021 due to getting bored of it after years of using it to bulk but it is legit for keeping you alive for a low price
