I learned this recently after messaging some old classmates and coworkers and getting cold reactions. People don’t care about maintaining relationships that won’t bring them money or sex. All relationships are transactional with normies. Don’t feel bad for completely ceasing to talk to someone you were once close with. Don’t give in to nostalgia like me and reach out. Just forget about people from your past.
