Water wet thread I know but I see the main appeal of looksmaxxing being its recapture of agency, if you believe in the delusion of self-improvement then you give yourself something to look forward to.

Even truecels can pretend like their punishment is karmic justice for the mistakes of their past lives…

Tangentially related whenever I tried NT normiemaxxing in the past, I wasn't treated conventially poorly per se but was always labeled as "innocent" or a "good guy"

And I detested it so much but wasn't sure why until existential dread I'm experiencing shone some light

I strongly resent this idea of incels/subhumans as these innocent down on their luck, blameless victims taking the high road. R/incelswithouthate, "one of the good incels who doesn't glorify shooters and wahmen don't owe me anything"

If you're gonna be subhuman, the least you can do is "deserve it" by being the monster they think you are. There's more dignity in chris chan than poor schmuck eggman. There's some dignity in being deserving of your fate even if it's not your fault per se

Oh, these are fucking hilarious, but they’re a low hanging fruit.
The opposite side of this spectrum is worse because fooling your genetic destiny and hacking whatever vestiges of eugenics this zogged society still has in place is just so… Indian…

If too many people facing the problem of them not being hot/talented/smart enough choose to “work hard” on this then A. things will just get worse for everyone else (who likes subpar ethnic doctors, lol?) and B. whatever that we perceive is good will fade away (simulation runs counter to authenticity and in most cases abolishes it given enough time).

There really is a cycle of spheres dedicated to some of form of self improvement forming, quickly becoming overwrought by subhmans and turning into an embarrassment, usually heralded by said sphere being associated with curries/ethnics

It happened to PUA, bodybuilding, biohacking, finance bro culture etc and now looksmaxxing

Some of these spheres may have started out worse than others but the canary is coalmine is it being associated with curries/nonwhites
