cuz when you say you "want" to kill someone it could be interpreted as a hyperbole e.g. to express hatred towards someone

but when you say you "will" kill someone then its completely different init and unlikely to be a hyperbole cuz no one says it like dat

"i hate jamesothy, i want to kill him" is very different to "i hate jamesothy, i will kill him"

im sure its not black and white tho and that if you say you 'will' kill someone it's not like you're garunteed a punishment it the context will probably also be taken into account.
