Applying it subtly is another skill that women have a decade long head start over us. But its learnable (and assuming you only use bb cream or at max foundation - as a man more than that is a no no)

1. You need to make sure the stuff you apply matches your skin as good as possible
2. And that you apply it correctly. Don’t use too much, exfoliate beforehand, your skin shouldn’t be wet but hydrated, use a sponge etc.
You learn it as you do it.
