Its interesting seeing these reels from my past friends. Partying around, drinking, dancing in bars, niggas going to Thailand, having a blast. At one point even i used to do all this but I joined the army and my life trajectory changed entirely while they are still in that high burn out party loop a part of me wonders what would have happened if I never left that lifestyle. I do sometimes feel jealous but you win some you lose some. No regrets at all.

Very brutal. I'd wake up 4 am everyday for drills, they'd make us work tirelessly, constantly had my CO barking orders at me and the food tasted like cement but it helped build a lot of discipline and perseverance that helped a lot in life.

It was entirely an accident that I joined the army to serve for 3 years. It wasn't even part of my plan. I wanted to move away from the life and purely by chance saw the advertisement on the bulletin board and showed up for the selection and it changed my life

Army helped me way more therapy tbh. Therapy doesnโ€™t work for men because it focuses more on talking than solving. Most men need structure, direction and most importantly results. not just emotional validation that women get. It is like paid venting rather than real progress more of a temporary cope than a proper fix. Army fixed the problem at it's root. Clear structure with rules, schedules, hierarchy, external accountability and immediate feedback and results with my CO brutally punishing and yelling at me every time I messed up and imme

yup therapy is snake oil. discovering my version of blackpill (whitepill) fixed my life. it was the most painful fucking thing ever when i discovered it years ago. but it pushes all the bullshit out of your mind so you stop hitting brick walls in the dark at full speed.

That's a bit harsh. I don't personally agree with this form of disciplining yourself, but it evidently works well for some people like it did for Jason

What do you think? Does therapy work? For me it didn't do much. What worked for me was breaking my ego into a thousand bits, consequences, punishments, forced accountability and discipline is what worked.

Men should go through this, every day i wonder if i should enroll in the army. The discipline and wiseness it builds is insane.

Nah therapy is giga cope jfl. I've seen at least a dozen shrinks over the past few decades. My older bro did benefit from a private psychologist tho, so ymmv I guess

I like this one quote

"Hard times create strong men.
Strong men create good times.
Good times create weak men.
And weak men create hard times."

I see it everywhere now, it seems like in 2026 Gen Z is way more focused on national socialism and being strong men against the faggot agenda the media is pushing :FeelsLoveMan::PeepoComfy:

It's good to see.
