While reductionism is easy to fall back onto when the time comes to reflect on what "went wrong" with your life, whatever possible life routes you could've chosen or been able to choose had you been slightly better looking, taller, a different race, it simply isn't healthy.
It is an easy escape to say that you're wired because of an unfavorable childhood experience, parent favouritism, high school bullying, whatever instance of your life where you realized that the blackpill was at play. But improving your looks is not the only solution; it is part of a series of improvements, not the total sum of yourself. Improving your looks without realizing what is wrong with you, psychologically, stress, traumas ingrained in your psyche, is like adding embellishments onto a broken clay doll.
Life is not all about validation. You might feel good with validation, be it from your parents, your school, your job, this forum, as it is now, but it's an exploit to make you feel good momentarily. Life is not about others' perception of yourself, though you may be very well convinced that it is. You can be convinced to focus only on yourself; this doesn't mean that you should abide to bluepilled notions and "LDAR." It means that you can separate yourself from the social conventions keeping you down and forcing you to look for validation from others. Be good-looking to please others, subsequently pleasing myself; change my personality to please others, subsequently pleasing myself; it's an endless repetition that rips away at your substance and leaves you meandering, with no trace of individuality left.
If you focus on yourself, you can achieve happiness within yourself; it's best to depend on you alone to do this, and not vapid thots, Internet rep, or social institutions.
