I’m 5’7”, not tall enough to stand out, and my nose is big. My eyes are too close together. When I look in the mirror, I don’t like what I see. At school, I watch the girls laugh with the popular boys, and I always feel invisible. They never notice me.
I try to talk to them, to make them laugh, but it’s like they don’t even see me. I get so angry at myself. Why can’t I look like them? Why does no one care?
