If you're intelligent but unattractive, you still provide value to the world. You are almost guaranteed a successful career, and others will see you as high status compared to the average man. You have something to contribute and are a capable human being Compare this to the man who is not unattractive and unintelligent, others will just view them as a burden or "useless" (not my thoughts, just realistically what people think).

Just talked to a guy on this forum with the most recessed maxilla I’ve ever seen and in his country they don’t cover it to get fixed even with health issues. Now he has to slave away at a brutal job just to save up enough to pay a shady surgeon to perform a major surgery that can easily ruin his life if botched. And even after he does that, he’ll only look normal at best. Meanwhile, this very second a baby was born who will go on to become a slayer due to genetics alone. Point being, life is incredibly unfair. So if you’re dealt a bad hand, you can either give up or make the most of it.
