A college loan doesn't pay for the surgeries needed when someone is classified as "over." You would at most be able to get BSSO + implants. There would still be a lot of flaws and what would they do next?

They would need to slave away at a job. They improve their life just to ruin it in another aspect. They would need to drop out of university/college to be able to pay for everything. They would get nowhere. They would effectively be broke for at least a decade. The financial stress would cause them to kill themselves anyways if they're that weak to begin with. That is assuming parents let you crash at their place. If not, they would be audited and incarcerated for fraud.

What is the point of going through all that hardship exactly? Killing yourself is faster and easier.
