True, but keep in mind in previous generations men also had way more responsibilities. Even nowadays if you have a family because of the increased cost of living most likely both you and your wife will have to work hard. It's not like married men bang their wives all day and sit around.

The problem is that men are still left with a lot of responsobilities without having the actual sense of marriage - a child as an heir, which has always been providing property rights. I assume that patriarchy destruction led to the collapse of institute of private property as well

In patriarchal systems status is more important than looks. However, even as a low status man, if you have a job, you would get a woman of your status either way. Whereas now only high-status men with good looks can get women without betabuxxing. Nevertheless, even if they get these women, they still don't possess parents' rights, that any man in patriarchal society possessed
