As an acnescarcel, this shit sort of made me a little depressed. For anyone that wants a listen and wants a little bit of self pity, I time stamped it below.

I made it through accutane without any facial acne scars then at 23 when I lost a lot of facial fat and started to see first signs of collagen descension I got a couple of cysts on my face that left scars

I lost an insane amount of collagen on my face because of cystic acne, it doesn't help that I naturally don't carry a lot of fat on my face either, so the scars are just more pronounced. Even when I was a 220lbs gymcel, people would say I looked skinny with a sweatshirt because my face had no collagen. Now that I've been cutting, it looks like I have competition death face but I'm not even very low bodyfat. It's ogre.

Have you considered laser treatment of dermal filler?

I ought to try fillers, I did a few subcisions with no filler and some RF microneedling, didn't seem help much. I gotta save up tho, I'll prob get it in the next year or so... although I'm always skeptical of putting chemicals in my face.

I don’t have scarring (I think, I don’t know) my skin regenerates but continues to be inflamed with acne. Ew the puss.

Any active Acne is way worse than scarring, imo, to a certain degree

I'm not sure but I used to pop spots on my face all the time when I was younger and didn't get a single scar
Then as soon as I noticed my skin wasn't as good as it used to be I got some spots that scarred
