Nah, Putin sees Ukraine as an extension of Russia. Ukrainians don’t see themselves as Russians. Thats the root of this war. Ukraine should have ceded some of its territory in a peace deal and immediately ascend to NATO afterwards (behind Putin’s back)

ukrainans have been brainwashed into thinking they are separate people and if this was a real war ukraine would be gone in a week instead putin and zelensky from the higher orders have drawn out this war and depleted their already collapsing populations.

I came to that realization since the start

It's sad in general sense. It will take a lot of time and money to recover economics and demographic damage - a lot of physically fit men killed, a lot of people left country and don't wanna return, there is social unease caused by forced draft and corruption (rich people pay for not going to front and keep partying, poor people from countryside are sent to front lines quickly), a lot of soldiers will come home with ptsd and nothing to do, will results in crime rates rise.
In Russia, speaking socially, things are dar from perfect too. Ethnics feel themselves very comfortable, more than before, migrants, invited by construction industry lobby mostly, cuck natives (even non-slavic) and collect govt benefits. Soldiers will return with ptsd too and probably with some anger for ethnics and local powers.
