This stuff is crazy for task focus and pulling all nighters. I’m self-medicating with it as an adhd med until I can get vysanse or something and whilst it doesn’t cure executive dysfunction its great for sticking to long, monotonous tasks (like studying, coursework or cleaning).
Stayed up all night until like 11am last night finishing a project and ended up waking up at 6pm. Now that I have to fix my sleep schedule I’m just taking another and staying up until like 8pm studying tbh.
It makes the whole thing weirdly fun too. Its not a euphoric drug by any means but it blocks dopamine reuptake and in turn tunes up your reward mechanisms for “difficult” tasks.
I have incredibly fond memories of what was a really strange and honestly quite dark time in my life last year when I was woefully unprepared for exams and basically just pulled 40hr last minute crams sessions on like 600mg of it (don’t take that much if you’re considering it please).
It was sort of a trance like focus state. I was on overdose levels and I was literally getting coke jaw and palpitations yet also just didn’t care. I felt no stress for the imminent, life-deciding exams (I failed most of them but things worked out in the end) I was insufficiently prepared to take, just compulsion and fascination with the course material (2 semesters worth) that I had neglected to study for so long.
Been taking it at much lower doses whenever I need to do deep work this year and I’m doing so much better academically. It won’t fuck up your sleep as long as you plan your use and manage your doses appropriately. Just remember to set out your tasks before taking it and to drink water and eat properly. It nukes hunger and thirst cues (great for leanmaxxing) and debloats you like crazy (stronger diuretic than caffeine)
Cheap as fuck just get it in bulk from some curries online. 150-200mg will do you good, take it 12-15hrs before you plan to sleep.
