Stares from the 4 corners, a water burst from my right - ear blocked, shirt soaked, girls running, ignored by all passing. Threats from the left, only help from above. All man watch, all man see, no man help.

since high school I have been in the mindset of never giving up, doing everything possible to succeed. But the point is, if nothing has changed, despite trying all that “works”, then what is the point in continuing?

I hear so much nonsense about never giving up, but people don’t understand that there is a limit, otherwise it’s a waste of time and is a net negative overall.
