Its over: Just Got Rejected From Grad School

So despite having a 3.9 GPA at a top 50 school all while being out of the emergency room and hospital half the time I was there culminating in emergency surgery I still got rejected from grad school. Naturally, no explanation given for why I was rejected despite being incredibly qualified. This is why I hate when people talk about hard work and merit. Its a bunch of bullchit. There's no winning as a sub-Chad male even when it comes to graduate school admissions you get owned.

Thanks for the empathy. Still waiting on two other grad schools- so I hope at least get into one of those, but the one I just got rejected from today was by far my top choice and I had been banking on getting in.

I was amazed I got onto my Masters tbh

Extremely competitive and one of the best courses for the subject in the world. I applied late af, they said they'd run out of space this point but told me they wanted to have me the next year. No interview no nothing.

So I basically had a year off in 2016/17 smoking weed, doing dumb shit and working a comfy job. Jfl at hard work, I knew two other guys who applied to it and got rejected despite the fact I know they had better work ethics (similar grades tho)

how did you do on your gre? i fucked around in undergrad and ended with a 3.3 gpa but 3.8 in my major. i plan on retaking some courses then putting all of my efforts on my gre score and essays
