Wouldn't be that difficult theoretically. You could drive to some southern US state and buy an AR-15 in cash without them even taking your ID. Border patrol wouldn't even search your vehicle at the US/Canada border. It would be an inconvenience, but not super difficult by any means. There are also tons of underground markets for that shit. In all likelihood tho, it's a larp post and nothing will happen.
