if you recently got a x-ray of that left hand and that shit is fused it's probably not 100% over height-wise.

most people on here incorrectly call the plates closed and i've even seen people have the doctor make the wrong-call. so just double check to see if there's any possible remaining growth shown there.

the left hand is not the actual place where height growth really happens. it's just the agreed upon indicator for height. it's actually the
  • Femur: The thigh bone provides the largest contribution to leg length.
  • Tibia and Fibula: The shin bones determine lower leg extension.
  • Vertebrae: The bones in your spine determine your torso length.
if your left hand is still fully closed it doesn't confirm 100% the rest are, although it's highly likely.

The vertebrae (spine) and clavicle (collarbone) are the absolute last bones to fuse and can sometimes remain active into your early 20s. Growth here will not give you longer legs, but it can occasionally add a fraction of an inch to your sitting torso height. So if you run a height stack if your spine bones are still active which they likely are because they can remain so into your early 20's and some part of your body that the left-hand scan didn't show (like femur, tibia and fibula) you could actually still grow 0.5-2 inches (absolute max) if your lucky.

I've been seeing more and more people say this, which is major major major lifefuel.

Sadly though the pediatric websites from a basic google search usually still say that growth sites close around the same time :feelswah::feelswah::feelswah::feelswah::feelswah:

I've sort of been using this idea to drown myself in cope.

yeah the left hand scan is a major indicator for the rest but it doesn't confirm it. ESPECIALLY spine activity which like i said earlier could last until early 20's. even then spinal decompression and posture could be good for you. just try some height pharma for 6 months and see if it does anything. if not do the posture and other shit, heelsmashing etc for height.

Yeah, I'll just have to continue coping with growth left in the spine...

It’s true

From most clinical analysis knee plates stay open 1-2 years post wrist fusion.

Obviously varies my person. But the knee xray is the only thing that matter imo. If you’re concerned about your potential remaining growth get a knee one. Obviously spinal plates can stay open until early 20s.

Bro what is this next level cope man
Manlet ahh cope

Literally obvious science nothing here is wrong
ur not going to go from short to tall when ur wrist plates are already closed. it's basically a telltale signal that you have extremely limited growth left

Not gonna argue with someone who didn’t read the thread in full

You obviously did not I literally mentioned exactly what you said about it being a sign
congrats on the extra 0.5 inch

congrats on the extra 0.5 inch
It’s real literal bone growth even after left hand plate closure. And can be significantly more than that. With other methods you could see even more perceived height

“Better habits for height” buddy the only way you could lose out on height during puberty is either through malnutrition or severe lack of sleep. Which is determined by genetics and environment which you can’t control at all. It’s about the genetic lottery your born into. You cannot choose height or genes. Only through phrama and big decisions in life can you actually taper a little off of the course genes and environment had for you.
