Naturally, I have darker skin than him.

People on here often say I should recognise my privilege because I am white passing with blue eyes. I am aware that other people have it a lot rougher than me but I still have my problems that I face.

If you are at least 45% non-European and have been racially insulted or abused in the past, you should not consider yourself white even if you're white-passing.

Did you know I was stopped by a security guard at an airport in the Mediteranean after they read my passport with my dad? I was panicking like hell on that day. They asked me an awful lot of questions, double checked our bags and heavily scrutinised our electronic devices but we were let free after 15 minutes. I'll never forget that.
