A few minutes ago I got off of call with this girl who i’ve liked for a while off and on. We’ve been friends for years and I’ve always been there for her despite even at sometimes reducing myself to being practically a cuck just because of me wanting to help her and be nice to her. Despite this, and my somewhat decent personality (although I would say it’s not that good, I struggle with picking up on social cues, and responding to them, and I also struggle with forming any sort of actual deep emotional attachment to them. I’ve never cried over anyone in my life before and as such I can never relate to a normal foid who has.) she still decides to never acknowledge me up until recently, and due to me cutting my hair, losing facial fat from puberty and just developing more in general she had some interest in me. Come to find out after 3 days I scare her off because of being incapable of comforting her as she was having a series of extremely bad experiences back to back around this time, but then afterwards we continue to be friends and return to normalcy, although I am still attracted to her (She is a tall mtb, shares similar interests and hobbies as me, and is extremely intelligent having a 147 iq) she never realizes that I was still attracted and somewhat interested in her, and as stated earlier had called me not too long ago at the time of this post. For an hour i sat there and listened to her cry and cry because a dude she had been in a 7 month talking stage with, off and on, and never been official with didn’t want to talk to her anymore and that she had missed him. She recently went to a descendents or whatever the band is called concert with a dude who obviously was interested in her (I assume she didn’t realize as she is neurodivergent and specifically can’t pick up on social cues and especially sarcasm.) and screamed to the point of losing her voice and hurting her throat, and during one of the songs she continually screamed about how much she missed this dude, which of course made the other guy angry but it’s whatever, she also told me about how she had started learning sign language (no clue what for) and the first sign she had learned was “I miss (his name)” Keep in mind this dude she misses is a HTN, but has a horrible personality which is why he didn’t want to talk to her anymore btw lol, and she literally said she would do anything for him specifically because he’s “exactly her type” and “literally perfect” and for the first time throughout the years i’ve known her, asides from one other time kinda similar to this, i finally just decided not to deal with it anymore and finally just stopped interacting with her. But it made me feel absolutely horrible and it shows that literally all of them will only care about your looks, even incredibly smart neurodivergent women will still completely ignore you, your values and anything else you might bring to the table just for chad. Even status and intelligence can be completely brushed aside for looks. It’s absolutely brutal and genuinely giving me ropefuel rn. But it’s whatever and I just have to be stoic about it.
