Take one:

- I believe nasolabial folds don’t suit anyone
- They ruin aesthetics and make people look older

Even on young individuals. Elle Fanning, Gemma Watson, and especially Barbara Palvin have them very pronounced.

All three of them try to cover them as best as they can: with foundation, makeup, and photo editing

Although these girls still remain in the "prettyboy" phenotype, hiding nasolabial folds elevates them significantly.

For girls, it’s a particular blow, since it’s an aging facial trait

Ben Barnes also has pronounced folds,
and yet it didn’t stop him from playing youthful roles where the character is supposed to be the most beautiful - Dorian Gray, Prince Caspian in The Chronicles of Narnia.

Still, I think this feature is out of place in those roles. And he’s had them since his teenage years.

- I want to tell you to stop coping.

Yes, these people are very GL, but without it they would be much better.

@Klasik616 complained about this trait, saying it makes him look older ~23y - because that’s exactly what it does.

But then comes Coper @Gengar and starts his eternal chatter that - everyone has it, so don’t worry about it

To me, that’s like saying - shit is inside everyone, so don’t worry that you shit yourself

Also, @Orc has had them his whole life, and he’s written some solid, practical articles on reducing their prominence.

I want to wrap up this post with that.

What do you think about nasolabial folds?

It's true though, even babies have nasolabial folds. They're natural. If those with peak collagen have them, what makes you think it's "unnatural"? It's normal.

Many people also have a pronounced Norwood, which is still considered within the normal range, but that doesn’t mean itit doesn’t kill attractiveness

You're pretending that nasolabial folds were "not normal," I simply refuted your weird argument. I said nothing else about them.

Besides norwooding naslolabials have been my biggest descender hands down. At early 20s it might be a death sentence too.

With these actors doesn't look bad because they have good features. But an mtn will probably become ltn automatically

All my features are decent, that shit is the thing that's ruining my face

In my case it's cause my Potruding incisors

Same as hexum, except I don't have his godly bonemass to get away with it

How to get rid of them?

Excess fat right above them weighs them down and makes the crease

There are multiple reasons as to why one would have them, so different ways to permanently fix it

Or you can use fillers like @Tigermoggerlol

It's not necessarily the fat
Well the way I see it there’s 2 types the kind you have as a baby/kid and the kind you get in your 50s

One is from excess volume in a bad distribution weighing on the fold and the other is simply skin aging

Trust me I have them and I researched that shit like crazy to understand what causes it

If you're not fat and have them then it's either:

1) recessed maxilla

2)Potruding teeth

3) recessed cheekbones

4) deep canine fossa

Generally they all come in together but in some cases (eg hexum) they're cause by Potruding teeth
