It’s too humbling entering spaces where the average person in the space is above average in general

For example, im good at games, pretty damn good, but not top tier. But I do get glazed by people all the time irl or people who are around average players

Then I entered a space where there were way more above average gamers, and many weren’t too far below my skill level, and in that community I became more average. Humbling asf. Those faggots will call me trash at games that I am WELL above average in, and have even reach among some of the highest rank tiers in ranked lobbies

Or here, back in previous PSL spaces I was rated chadlite frequently, years ago. In DMs, and in public’s posts mainly I’d get praise or high compliments, then I went into discord years later (like a few months ago)

And many rated me shit like mid HTN, even MTN, when I quite honestly am used to getting high praise. Shit makes you spiral a bit I won’t lie, going from praise and positive reinforcement and being used to that behavior and then going into being called mediocre and criticized is a crazy ego hit, I can’t rlly handle it well mentally due to the further praise and having my ego lifted

I cant rly tell though if they’re just being like jealous and deducting points for certain things out of spite or im actually just HTN now, and my point went down an entire PSL tier

i am insanely pretty imo but ya know it doesn’t really matter anymore anyways
