I've been starting to view everything as a gamble

Every situation I encounter I now always measure my risk/reward ratio.

For example, is it low risk/high reward, high risk/low reward?

And are the odds with me or against me?

Also what are all the other possible outcomes?

To add on further, the best thing gambling taught me was not to gamble but to take calculated risks
