This all started in July 2025, I was with my friends and I asked them if they recommend me some songs recommandations. I was getting so many songs recommandations and i was listening to all of them but i noticed something strange and weird, i couldn't enjoy it. It was nice i guess but none of the intros really hit me and i didnt enjoy most of them. It was like eating a potato, i mean its nice but its bland its not hitting me.
but i tell them straight up that none of the songs that you guys have recommended to me are actually good, and they were suprised and shocked. But we just shrugged it off because we just went on the assumption that they don't know what genre i like and i need to give more information what i like. This goes on like for 2 months.
for 2 months whenever me and my friends are chilling in VC late at night playing video games, we just listen to music and chill and talk. Everytime that happens then I ask them if they can recommend me anything and thats what we do, we listen to like 10+ new artist everytime i ask them for recommandations. I mean like it's crazy how much knowledge they have of music. But we just go through everything. Songs that are 1 minute long to 4 to 11 to 16 TO 23 MINUTES LONG!!!!!!
so i mean this is super experiemental and we are just trying to figure out what I LIKE?!?!?! But it was yesterday night that we figured out what the problem was, the problem was that i only listen to sad/emotional songs that i get nostalgic or sad whenever i listen to it, i romantasize about being sad and it makes me feel good. I mean then it just hit me, all the songs i have ever liked is just genuielly sad, nostalgic or just comfort. It just spiralled downwards from there, I was lost and confused.
I mean how could this be true, have I been only listening to music ever since 2020 just for the nostalgic, sad, comfort????
