yeah. I didn't even like it at first because the waves just ended up being frizzy and straight due to silicones in shampoo.

I think you need a loose perm for it. You can also try wet setting your hair but pretty sure it only works on longer hair

All I know is that it's like a regular perm but it turns your hair wavy instead of curly. Try this instead
