I’ve just received the worst news of my life

I just went to a new dentist for teeth whitening, they did a full X-Ray and basically my teeth hygiene is amazing (obvs) however… due to an accident I had in 2022 where I chipped my front tooth, and then I had braces in 2023-2025 the dentists jaw PERMANENTLY caused my four upper teeth to have shorter roots…….

The bad news! She basically gave me a less than 10 year clock on those four teeth! For reference I am 19 and have just been told im gonna lose my smile before I’m 30

I am currently in the process of emailing my orthodontist, my dentist to put in a proper complaint etc cos this is genuinely so bad idek if I should laugh or cry

And I asked if getting veneers would be a good option as then I wldnt acc be using my teeth, nope! I was told to eat soft foods and not use my teeth for anything… I AM NINETEEN OH MY FUCKING GOD

I don’t think im overreacting at all because I not even in my 20s yet and I’ve been told I will lose my teeth soon, yes obviously no one has to know I get implants etc but the principle is that I’ve maintained good dental hygiene my entire life and due to the orthodontist and dentists oversights I am going to lose my teeth way earlier than the average person

But I am in talks with a solicitor so hopefully I am able to get some kind of help
