I no longer yearn for what is lost, for what is lost is already behind locked doors. I embrace the future. I have manned up. I will be the man she wanted me to be. Those days behind me were great, but that’s not who I am anymore and that’s not what is anymore. I am looking forward to this life of responsibility and new frontiers.
